SOWWY
(in development)
SOWWY is a performance meditation on accountability and interpersonal conflict, and their intersections with gender, power and relationship. Over 1 hour, with the audience seated in the round, an ensemble of intimately connected individuals conjures a world filled with humour, ass slaps, ecstasy, and desire.
This work combines movement, text, and physical images. In this universe a man tries to drown himself with a bottle of water, a woman can’t help returning to a man who has been shitty to her, a lover calls out for an angel’s help to solve their problems, and daddy issues are discussed by two friends who sometimes kiss.
